A case study of sandplay therapy for a child with tic disorder

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate effect of sandplay therapy on reducing tic symptoms of child with tic disorder and to analyze the process of sandplay therapy. The subject of this study was 5th grade child wiith vocal tic disorder. In order to achieve these study purpose, AB design of time-series study and case study were conducted. Main results of this study were as follows: First, child with symptoms of vocal tic target to look at the overall score YGTSS score (GSS) for the pre-44 and post-19 points, examined later-19 observed mother significantly reduce the tic symptoms on a child. Second, sandplay therapy counseling session conducted during the 13 sessions recorded sayings. These properties have a child with respect to the uniqueness and individuality through sand play therapy have been experienced look. That reveals their inner face, the desire to express their anger and express emotions experienced by the process of the growth was found to be.
